Favorite Ride: One of my favorite rides is about a 20 mile loop (ride it 3 times or more) on Block Island, which is 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. The Island wide speed limit is 25 mph. On the flats & descents we're faster than the locals, taxi's & rental scooters. Johnathan can chase down the scooters on the climbs. It is a rolling to hilly Island shaped like a pork chop, including a 1 mile climb from Old Harbor up to the Airport. They used to have a three day stage race out on the island.

My Commute: Short fast sprint to work and taking a different longer way home. 2010 Cap City Cross - Finished 2nd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 45+. 2011 Cap City Cross - Finished 3rd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 40+ field.

Tue 8/15 38 miles 2.1 hr Father - Son ride. Could not ask for a better start to my day! Last ride with Johnathan before me moves to Africa to coach cycling. 
Mon 8/14 12 miles 43 min Nice and easy on the way to work, with a little of this and s little of that.

Sun 8/13 15 miles 59 min Easy spin home after a long day on my legs. Another beautiful evening ride home from #TREK 
Sun 8/13 50 miles 3.0 hr TREK Sunday Morning Training Ride-Nice sunny morning with a good turn out. We split in two groups to make sure everyone made it home safely. 
Sat 8/12 15 miles 63 min Slow rolling home into the headwind. Could not ask for nice evening to spin my legs after a long day working. 
Sat 8/12 18 miles 62 min It's August and my legs are starting to turn around. It's almost CX time! #TREKcx 
Fri 8/11 10 miles 33 min A little earlier to work for another bike fitting. #TREK 
Thu 8/10 30 miles 1.7 hr Out and about on a sunny day off. If I could have got my butt moving sooner....should have, could have, would have. Saw old friend.
