Favorite Ride: One of my favorite rides is about a 20 mile loop (ride it 3 times or more) on Block Island, which is 13 miles off the coast of Rhode Island. The Island wide speed limit is 25 mph. On the flats & descents we're faster than the locals, taxi's & rental scooters. Johnathan can chase down the scooters on the climbs. It is a rolling to hilly Island shaped like a pork chop, including a 1 mile climb from Old Harbor up to the Airport. They used to have a three day stage race out on the island.

My Commute: Short fast sprint to work and taking a different longer way home. 2010 Cap City Cross - Finished 2nd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 45+. 2011 Cap City Cross - Finished 3rd over all for the Cat.1-3 Masters 40+ field.

Fri 5/18 15 miles 45 min The rain finally stopped, but I still kept it close to home with the skies looking like more rain was possible. 
Thu 5/17 22 miles 78 min Nice ride with Tom, of "Tom & Debbie." Weird ENE wind and we finished in the rain. 
Tue 5/15 8 miles 28 min Straight shot as possible to work. It's getting hotter! See if I will ride home, looks like the storms are rolling in big than predicted. 
Tue 5/15 21 miles 73 min Morning spin, but kept it close to home based on what the weather radar looked like. Thing cleared out for now, so looks like commute time. 
Mon 5/14 18 miles 60 min A little saddle time - Had an hour before getting ready for work.

Sun 5/13 25 miles 1.6 hr PBS shop ride-nice and easy, but of course I like to spice things up a little.It was nice seeing old friends doing other rides this morning. 
Sat 5/12 33 miles 1.9 hr Started my day with Kicking Asphalt and finished on my own. Needed to turn around, got places to go and people to get on new bikes. 
Fri 5/11 2 miles 8 min Mail call + a little more.
